The Effect of Mori Cortex Radicis on Anti-cancer and Immunocytes

Abstract
|

|
The effect of Mori Cortex Radicis on the human cancer cell-lines(A431 and KHOS-NP), the regulation of immune cells and the apoptosis, nitric oxide(NO) from macrophage in mice were studied. Mori Cortex Radicis
decreased human cell lines, and inhibited proliferation of splenocytes in mice. Mori Cortex Radicis decreased production of NO from macrophages in vitro and vivo.
Apoptosis was increased by Mori Cortex Radicis in a dose dependent manner.
Mori Cortex Radicis increased CD4+ T_H cell however did not change CD8 Tc/Ts cell sub-population in the thymocytes of mice.
